The Wheelbarrow of Faith.

Many years ago in Paris, there was a tightrope walker known for his incredible aerial feats. He would perform his acts at tremendous Heights. Oftentimes blindfolded and pushing a wheelbarrow. Word of his talents spread to America, where a promoter decided to bring to tightrope walker to an American audience.

The promoter wrote to the performer, challenging him to a unique performance. In his letter, he wrote, “I don't believe you can do it, but I'm willing to make you an offer. For a very substantial sun of money besides all your transportation fees, I would like to challenge you to do your act over Niagara Falls.” The performer wrote back that he would love to accept that challenge.

Soon the tight rope walker was standing along the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, awaiting his moment to walk across to America. A great crowd had turned out that day, and as the drums begin rolling, the tightrope walker began blindfolded and walk across the treacherous waters below.

As the triumphant performer landed on American soil, he turn to the promoter. He asked him, “do you now believe that I can do this?” The promoter enthusiastically responded, “Of course I do. I just witnessed your accomplishment myself.” The tight rope walker ask again, “No do you really believe that I can do it?” The promoter again said he believed. A third time the performer asked the American promoter about his belief and for the third time the man said he believed in the tight rope walkers abilities. With a sly smile on his face, the tight rope walker said “Good. Now you can get in the wheel barrow.”
